Have you met our Wine List?

While we are known for Steaks and Great Seafood Specials, our solid foundation for a one-of-a-kind dining experience is enhanced through our seemingly endless wine list. Have you seen it?

Upon entering the restaurant, you will immediately notice our wine cellar and wine wall, as it is the focal point of the whole restaurant. The 1,100 bottle, temperature-controlled wine cellar separates the entrance from the lounge, while the impressive 400 bottle wine wall separates the main dining room and the bar, giving our patrons something exquisite to look at, all the while giving our bar patrons privacy. Our wine cellar is completely enclosed in glass, and an impressive physical representation of our focus and commitment to the marriage of superb wines and delectable foods.

Our Starting Wines

We have an extensive wine list with more than 200 labels from across the world. Being an American Steakhouse the majority of our selections hail from the U.S. wineries in California, Washington, and Oregon.

With our sizable inventory, our philosophy is to offer our guests excellent value and quality at all price points. We also offer a variety of selections from some of the finest producers of France, Italy, Spain, Australia, and South America.

We continually strive for the staff to increase their knowledge base. This commitment is realized with the help from our in House Sommelier. Our Staff's knowledge of wine continues to deepen each month. Every Month our entire staff meets to learn about the wines served at our restaurant. Each meeting consists of tastings, expanding everyone's knowledge of not only our wine list but regional and AVA characteristics. We focus on one or two specific wine making regions of the world and the specific varietals grown there; the climate, soil, characteristics and stylistic differences.

Choosing Which Way to Go

Cabernet and Cabernet based blends are our most popular wines. We offer several recognizable brands such as Jordan, Caymus, and Silver Oak. Some of our guests' are favorites 16 X 20 from Napa Valley, Stag's Leap" Artemis" and Joseph Phelps "Insigna".  A couple of our personal favorites to sell are, Hidden Ridge From Sonoma, Haras de Pirque "Hussonet", and  Adaptation from Napa Valley.

Pinot Noir is the second most requested type of wine we serve. BelleGlos, "Las Alturas," from Monterrey County is a wonderful choice. If your looking for a more earthly, old World wine Domaine Serrigny "Rouge" is an excellent choice. Paul Hobbs and Gary Farrell are pinot fan favorites from the Russian River Valley.

While Whites aren't as popular here at Scotch & Sirloin, Cakebread Chardonnay  does very well here as well as Rombauer. Closerie de Alisers Chablis Vieilles Vignes from Burgundy, France is another popular options when looking for white wine.

Sterling Silver Beef History

STERLING SILVEr BEEF EXCLUSIVELY At SCOTCH & SIRLOIN

Scotch & Sirloin founded in 1968 has always been known for serving the best beef in the Midwest. Living by that Standard, The Scotch & Sirloin is the official “Home of Sterling Silver Certified Premium Beef.” Raised in the heartland of Cattle Country, Sterling Silver Premium Beef is carefully sourced from the Great Plains of North America and hand-selected for optimal quality. The results are unsurpassed cuts of beef that provide exceptional flavor, tenderness and juiciness every time.

When you’re dedicated to delivering legendary dining experiences, it makes sense to start with the best.

Sterling Silver accepts only beef from the very top tier of Choice and prime grades with standards that are based on quality not breed. All Sterling Silver Premium Beef is highly marbled for rich flavor and aged to perfection. This Premium Beef has 80 percent more flavor than lower quality beef and ensures that all products are rated modest or higher for marbling (the white flecks of fat within the muscle) in rich authentic beef flavor.

Sterling Silver Premium Beef has always taken pride in the tenderness of its product. The consistently high standards for quality grade, marbling and aging have been in place for years, ensuring every cut is tender, juicy and flavorful every time. So it is no surprise Sterling Silver Beef met criteria for the newly introduced USDA certified very tender without a single change to the process. When you’re dedicated to delivering legendary dining experiences, it makes sense to start with the best.

Scotch and Sirloin starts with the best, then enhance the premier eating experience by following these three crucial steps. The First step is to optimize the tenderness of the beef, this is through the aging process. We age all our beef in house for a minimum of 30 days to guarantee its tenderness. Once the beef is aged our Executive Chef hands cuts all of our Steak daily to certify they are all center cut Premium Steaks. The final step involves the cooking process, here at Scotch & Sirloin we use a state-of-art broiler that will sear the steaks at 1600 degrees. This high temperature searing seals in all the juices, making for an extraordinary steak.
